Thomas Eldib
Vice President~ Los Angeles Section

MY name is Thomas Eldib. I grew up in a subdivision in the heart of Los Angeles. I grew up as “that kid with the pet snakes.” I was always the odd one out and the one that everyone instantly turned to when their hamster was sick or the teacher couldn’t answer a kid’s answer on whales. Id always read and researching and immersing myself in the world of animals. Over the years I’ve raised all sorts of animals from dogs and cats to Kenyan Sand Boas and Coturnix Quail, to mini res and Dutch rabbits, ducks, chickens and everything in-between. My parents have been so amazingly supportive of all my interests and hobbies and projects. Going to High school has given me unique opportunities to put all of this knowledge and experience in animals husbandry to good use, getting an experiment in hatching grocery store eggs published in a scientific journal being one example. FFA has been amazing experience for me and I can’t wait to see where it'll take me.
Take care, Thomas.
