I raise and show sheep, volunteer in my community's local pumpkin patch, and grow and sell squash for my SAE projects. In my free time I enjoy being outside. Whether I’m hiking in the mountains, surfing, or off-roading. I am beyond honored to be able to serve such an awesome region and having this opportunity to meet all of you!

I have also attended a number of leadership conferences and participated in multiple speaking events, but Job Interview is definitely my favorite. Hey y’all! My name is Anahi Chavez and I’m from the Santa Paula FFA chapter in the Ventura section. I as well as many others can consider me the most active member within my class. Although I’ve never had the opportunity to raise animals, I’ve got to have the opportunity to be involved in all the other leadership building activities offered in my section. FFA is built off the idea of diversity in students as well as activities. I strive my hardest to make this message known and change the many mindsets that underestimate this incredible organization. As much as I love wearing my official FFA uniform, I also adore wearing my volleyball jersey. I am Sophia Silacci from the San Luis Obispo FFA Chapter. I am currently serving as the Sentinel on my chapter officer team, and also serve as the current SLO Sectional Reporter. I am conducting an agriscience research project at the Cal Poly Dairy which I hope to enter into competitions this following school year. I have placed third in the nation for Novice Parliamentary Procedure, which is called Conduct of Chapter Meetings at the national level. I have also participated in Creed and Impromptu speaking. Hello South Coast Region FFA Members! My name is Samuel van Rhijn and I'm from the Sobrato FFA Chapter. I enjoy playing sports, hanging out with friends, and Boy Scouts. I have raised hogs, lambs, and even Chickens. I am hopefully going to be attending University of Wyoming majoring in Agricultural Business with a focus in Farm and Ranch Management. I am excited to have the chance to serve you, the South Coast, this upcoming year.

Hi I'm Mackenzie Hearne! I am so excited for the opportunity to serve our amazing region, and cannot wait for this upcoming year. I love this organization and all the incredible opportunities it has given me. Alongside FFA, I enjoy playing softball, showing pigs, working for my family’s business, and being a member of Salinas Valley Fair's Jr Fair board. I absolutely love skiing, and have a passion for anything outdoors. I'm so very blessed to be a part of FFA, and to have become involved in this organization, it has truly shaped me into the person I am, and I hope to inspire others just as others have inspired me.

I am a student at Templeton High School who aside from school, likes to hang out with friends and play sports. I am involved in tennis and cross country, I will admit I am very slow though. I enjoy cracking jokes and playing Fortnite. My main goal as a leader is inspiration. I try to inspire and connect with those around me. I really just love my friends and family and they inspire me.

Hey South Coast Region! My name is Kayla Zalesny and I'm from the Nipomo FFA Chapter. I show sheep and meat chickens at the Santa Barbara County Fair each summer. I am a professional milk spitter when it comes to judging dairy products with my talented team. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, riding my horse Scooter, and scouting out new delicious places to eat. I can't wait to meet all of you from the South Coast Region and learn about all of your exciting blue jacket stories!
